The thermal power station of Eurasian Power Corporation JSC (the Eurasian Power Corporation is a member of the ENRC concern) with the capacity of 2,100 MW is one of the junction points of the Kazakhstan power system and connects the North-East Kazakhstan with the power systems of West Siberia and Altai Region. The investment program implies reconstruction of all 8 power generation units of the station by 2018. SibEnergoGroup GC has prepared a project of reconstruction of power generation unit No. 5. The main and auxiliary equipment of the power generation unit was completely replaced in compliance with the work plan. A turbine set of the new generation was installed instead of the outdated turbine. The second unit was restored, commissioning was performed before unit No. 6 was started. Auxiliary equipment of the leading world producers was introduced in reconstructing the station: electric filters and mills of the Alstom concern, the electrotechnical equipment by Emerson, etc. A feasibility study of investments was performed. The term to implement the project is 2008-2014.

Design stage:

  • Project of reconstruction of the outdoor switchgear – 220 kV;
  • Working project of “Replacement of Switchgear 1HO-2HO”;
  • Working project of “Replacement of Backup Exciter РВ-3”;
  • Working project of “Circulation Water Flow Rate Metering Unit”;
  • Reconstruction project for substation TRP-7 (Traction Distribution Substation 7) of the Vostochny Coal Mine;
  • Reconstruction project of power generation unit No. 5;
  • Working project of “Center of Dispatch Control”;
  • Reconstruction of an electric filter on the body of boiler 5Б;
  • Project of replacement of a high-pressure heater on power generation unit No. 4;
  • Project of replacement of an electric filter on the body of boiler No. 5a of power generation unit No. 5;
  • Project of reconstruction of the electrotechnical part of power generation unit No. 6 of the thermal power station in the city of Aksu;
  • Design works and engineering services for the automated control system of technological processes at the station level;
  • Author supervision of replacement of a turbine set of power generation unit No. 6;
  • Preparing an assignment for the fuel feed line reconstruction;
  • Replacement project for electrolyzer unit No. 2;
  • Replacement project for electric filters of power generation unit No. 6;
  • Design and estimate documentation for modernization of high-pressure heater of power generation unit No. 1 of the thermal power station in the city of Aksu;
  • Development of a project of reconstruction of electricity supply of the electric filter of unit No. 3;
  • Replacement project for a turbine set of power generation unit No. 6 of the thermal power station in the city of Aksu;
  • Construction project for ash dump No. 3;
  • Author supervision of replacement of a turbine set of power generation unit No. 2;
  • Inspection of structure units of wagon dumper No. 1;
  • Replacement project for a turbine set of power generation unit No. 2 of the thermal power station in the city of Aksu;
  • Replacement project for electric filters of power generation unit No. 2.

Technological development:

  • Inspection of structure units of power generation unit No. 6.

Supply of boiler accessories:

  • Supply of plasma ignition safety devices.

Commissioning:

  • A complex of commissioning works for turbine set ХТЗ-325-32,5 and turbine generator ТВГ-325 of power generation unit No. 3;
  • Commissioning of boiler equipment of power generation unit No. 6;
  • Commissioning at power generation unit No. 6;
  • Supervised installation and commissioning of ignition safety devices at power generation unit No. 6;
  • Commissioning in replacing power generation unit No. 2 of the thermal power station in the city of Aksu.
