Creation of an enterprise producing alloy aluminium on the basis of Giessenhaus LLP in the north of Kazakhstan creates prerequisites for the development of an “aluminium cluster”. One of the enterprises of the aluminium industry, that will be created in the Pavlodar Special Economic Zone, will be a modern enterprise producing aluminium wheels for automobile industry.

The attraction of Pavlodar SEZ for the creation of an enterprise producing aluminium wheels is explained by several factors:

• preferences and tax benefits of a special economic zone, including those for the supply of high technology equipment,
• the availability of personnel and industry-specific schools in the region,
• the low level of competition, since there are no enterprises producing such products in the region,
• geographic proximity of raw material supplier,
• broad opportunities for sales on the Russian and European markets.

The project has already been included in the Map of Region Industrialization and will be implemented in the nearest years.
