Processing of industrial and household waste

The recycling of domestic waste is, first of all, problems of ecology, the state of the urban environment and health of the population. On the average, there is 250 kg of waste per capita in the cities per year. The consumption and production are constantly growing, the amount of waste also increases. But the processing of solid household waste can be a high-yield business. Not only final income of processing should be taken into consideration in this respect. It is an expensive and labor-consuming process to build such a plant, and it can be impossible without the financial support from the authorities to the small and medium business. The state must assess its expenses for the maintenance of waste dumps, fight against fires, expenses for public health with the growing pollution of the environment. It is not only technologies that are required, it is state regulation, understandable laws in this field, a single tariff policy. In Russia and Kazakhstan there are no landfills as such, there are waste dumps, to which up to 95% of all domestic waste are taken. More than half of them are now overfilled. There are five main technologies for waste utilization in the world practice: burial, composting to get biofuel, incineration, production of secondary raw material (recycling), anaerobic fermentation to get biogas. Each of these technologies depends on the morphological composition of the solid domestic waste, the opportunity to preliminarily sort the waste, the structure of economy in a certain region. According to our calculations, the technologies adapted for Pavlodar Region will make it possible to reach the level of 2% of waste that is to be buried in the future. The world practice shows that in the countries where the state in cooperation with the private business has built a regulated system of relations between the market participants (with the use of the mechanism of regulated tariffs developed with account of the full cycle of waste processing), the system of processing the solid domestic waste is stable.

Our company offers to jointly, under the guidance of state bodies, to develop and approve a concept of waste utilization. The concept should specify the most effective technology for the territory, mechanisms of implementation, sources of financing.

We offer that all the processing complex be considered under the concept. In addition to domestic waste it includes:

  • mercury waste;
  • construction waste;
  • household appliances.
