On 23 August 2016, the Kazakhstan delegation headed by Nursultan Nazarbayev visited Poland. The experience of the Pavlodar Special Economic Zone was presented in the process of discussion of trade-and-economic issues.

A few days after the management company of the Pavlodar Special Economic Zone received an offer from the Poland-Kazakhstan Chamber of Industry to come to Poland and meet with the Polish producer companies.

“We offer that in the process of the mission you visit two regions in Poland, the specialization of which is close to yours,” said Head of the Poland Chamber of Industry Petr Guzovsky in the letter, expressing an interest in cooperation with the Pavlodar SEZ.

The management company of the economic zone explained that the Polish businessmen are interested to open enterprises of chemical and agrochemical fields and enterprises producing aluminium goods in Kazakhstan.

The following companies already operate on the territory of the economic zone now: Agrokhimprogress, BONA LLP, Belizna LLP, UPNK-PV LLP.

The new participants of SibInvestGroup LLC with the project of production of aluminium wheels and alloyed aluminium and Tenir Logistic LLP with the production of titanium dioxide and silicon dioxide will come by the end of 2016. Thus, features of the chemical, agrochemical and metallurgical clusters start to appear in the northern industrial zone.
